The purpose of this position is to lead non-traditional marketing efforts for the RSVP Events Market in San Diego. This role is essential to building and maintaining strong relationships with restaurants, suppliers, vendors, community partners, the internal marketing team, and key leaders across other departments.
The Supervisor is responsible for researching, tracking, confirming, and planning participation in RSVP events. Key duties include vetting restaurant locations, coordinating event logistics, overseeing set-up and tear-down, leading RSVP presentations, setting customer appointments, and serving as a primary point of contact for interested customers. The purpose of this position is to lead non-traditional marketing efforts for the RSVP Events Market in San Diego. This role is essential to building and maintaining strong relationships with restaurants, suppliers, vendors, community partners, the internal marketing team, and key leaders across other departments.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING THE ROLE
- Territory Management: Research and identify neighborhoods that align with the target customer demographic.
- Logistics: Arrange and coordinate event logistics with restaurants and other venues.
- Transportation: Handles transportation of RSVP supplies, set-up, and tear-down for each event with participating Event Reps and coordinates with the venue on timing of food and beverages.
- Event Leadership & Presentation: Leads RSVP presentations at events. This includes leading 1 to 2 participating Events Reps during the event.
- Team Alignment: Coordinates with the RSVP Coordinator on confirmed events weekly, monthly, and quarterly (12-week) basis.
- Coaching & Development: Coach, mentor, and motivate field staff to optimize performance.
- Data Accuracy: Submits event results for manager reporting.
- Strategic Collaboration: Collaborates with the RSVP Coordinator to plan the RSVP staffing calendar for Event Representatives.
- Additional Tasks: Other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING THE PERSON
- Age: Must be 21 years or older.
- Experience: Two plus years of customer service and/or sales experience.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach others.
- Driving Requirements: Valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) screening.
- Technical Skills: Comfortable using tablets, phones, and laptops for daily planning and tracking.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Endurance: Sitting and/or standing for the majority of the day in front of a computer.
- Vehicle Use: Comfortably transporting RSVP supplies, set-up, and tear-down for events.
- Technology Use: Ability to carry and operate a touchscreen tablet while on the move.
