Role Overview:
We’re looking for a high-energy, results-driven Associate Sales Executive to join our Brand Partnerships team in NYC. In this full-cycle sales role, you’ll be responsible for driving new business revenue through strategic brand partnerships across the aesthetics, beauty, and wellness industries.

You’ll prospect, pitch, and close new partnerships — while growing and maintaining relationships with existing partners. You’ll also expand our brand footprint by exploring adjacent industries such as fashion, finance, and travel. This is a unique opportunity to own the sales process end-to-end and play a critical role in scaling RealSelf’s commercial partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Drive Revenue: Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and pitching to negotiating and closing new business deals. Consistently deliver against quarterly and annual revenue goals.
    • Grow the Brand Partner Base: Identify and secure new clients while nurturing relationships with existing partners. Manage a robust pipeline and build a diversified portfolio across aesthetics, beauty, wellness, and adjacent industries.
    • Be a Strategic Partner: Work directly with brands to understand their goals and build tailored solutions leveraging RealSelf’s ecosystem — including media, creator, and sponsorship opportunities.
    • Collaborate with Partnerships Team: Support the Brand Partnerships team in campaign kickoffs, ensuring timelines, assets, and deliverables are clear and aligned with client expectations. Communicate sold campaign details accurately and efficiently.
    • Partner Internally to Win: Collaborate closely with Partnerships and Digital teams on pre-sale strategy, proactive pitches, RFPs, and campaign implementation. Contribute to wrap reports, identify performance insights, and help uncover upsell opportunities.
    • Reporting Structure: This role reports directly to the VP of Partnerships.

Requirements:

    • Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle sales experience in media, advertising, or a related industry.
    • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a proven track record of closing deals and driving renewals.
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • NYC-based and able to work in our downtown office 2–3 days per week.
    • Experience with platforms like Google Analytics, Google Ad Manager, and Salesforce is a plus.

Bonus Qualities:

    • Experience in media - publisher or broadcast.
    • Early employee or one of the first sales hires at a startup.
    • Experience with upsell motions or working at a marketplace acquiring supply.
    • Full-stack sales skills, including self-prospecting.

$75,000 - $95,000 a year
Plus Commission!
