We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Legal Counsel to join our dynamic legal team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of commercial agreements and projects that support the growth and success of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Work with the legal team to successfully implement and manage the Contract Life Cycle (CLM) tool
- The Junior Legal Counsel will work collaboratively with other members of the legal team to review and close NDA’s, vendor and commercial transactions
- The Junior Legal Counsel will perform analysis and provide guidance on company transactions as well as evaluate risk, update templates, help to create training materials, and manage projects as necessary
- Provide guidance on contracting documents and processes
Qualifications
- Advise and participate in contract negotiations, including risk management and assessment of commercial transactions
- Ability to interact effectively with all departments within the company including executive management as well as external customers and vendors
- 3+ years previous experience conducting commercial contract negotiations for services and software for US companies
- Proven drafting skills
- Privacy and security experience
- Independent contributor but also a team player
- Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality
- Fintech and experience with a CLM tool a plus, but not required
