Recurrency is building the automated enterprise. Our product is the world's first enterprise optimization system (EOS), a machine learning application that integrates with legacy enterprise resource planners (ERP) like SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Epicor, and provides the user with the flows and recommendations on how to better buy, manage, price, and sell their inventory. Our customers are wholesalers and distributors, ranging from family-owned companies to the Fortune 500.
Despite being a multi-trillion dollar industry, wholesale distribution has a striking lack of software to support even basic operations, with most ERPs relying on decades-old architecture. Founded in Los Angeles and supporting a fully-remote team across the US, we are a well-funded Series A-stage startup, backed by some of the most successful VCs in the world.

We need powerful content marketing to launch us to the next level. Recurrency is looking for someone that can build the industry knowledge and loves all things content related—from messaging to design to product requirements. A thought leader, SME, digital creator; someone that will be a loud and intelligent voice for Recurrency to the market, and a passionate market/customer advocate internally. Messaging, go-to-market, content, pricing, packaging, influencer influencing, company spokesperson, industry luminary, all-around digital badass. Working closely with our leadership team, you’ll be in a high-visibility and critical role to our success.

What you will own
You will be a player/coach over the broad functions of product marketing. However, you will spend most of your time:
Executing against an editorial calendar for top-of-funnel and mid-funnel content, responsible for publishing valuable content that will generate sales pipeline and differentiate us in the market.
Producing content for software buyers across a variety of formats and channels — ebooks, reports, blog posts, videos, email nurture programs, and more.
Breaking down and humanizing complex (but fascinating!) artificial intelligence topics like dynamic pricing and crystal-ball forecasting for Enterprise buyers.
Coordinating with your channel partners on the marketing and product teams to promote your content, owning and obsessively tracking performance metrics.
Partnering closely with our marketing, sales, success, and product leaders to understand our target audience and develop new strategies to reach them.

What you will bring on Day 1
You’re a producer. Building a demand gen engine takes a big investment in content — and you’re ready to hit the ground running with a high volume of deliverables.
You understand the outsized impact great content can have on sales pipeline, and you’re comfortable working directly with Sales and Product Marketing to optimize what you produce.
You’re passionate about helping teams build better ways to work, collaborate more efficiently, and fine-tune their operations.
You know how to uplevel messaging to the C-suite, but you also know that executives aren’t robots. You bring empathy, creativity, and perspective to everything you create.
You have 2-5 years of experience in marketing, and have designed, produced, and worked with content, including video, in-product copy, social media, email, blog posts, and more.

Qualifications:
BA/BS or equivalent working experience.
3+ years successfully driving content in a competitive SaaS environment
Passion and experience in crafting and driving enterprise B2B messaging for a startup environment.
Data-driven and highly analytical, with a passion for the creative arts.
Project and people management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment.
Proven ability to understand and define and segment markets, personas and ICPs.
Excellent time-management skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication. This isn’t just a “thing that should be said under Qualifications.” Communication is the cornerstone of marketing.
Most importantly, you're a fun, optimistic individual overall. We are a fully remote team, but we have a great time doing it!

These would be great to have, but we’re sure this will become part of you
Strong coaching and mentorship skills
Familiarity with Hubspot and other sales/marketing platforms
Experience and passion for Enterprise Distribution and ERPs 

Location: #LI-Remote, US-only.
Recurrency is a fully-remote team, with team members located throughout the US. While it will never be a requirement, there is a high likelihood that we will eventually develop a bi-coastal office presence, centered around Los Angeles & NYC, for those who prefer in-person to remote work.
