Redaptive is looking for a self-motivated, passionate, and collaborative Proposal Operations Associate to work closely with our growing team based in the US & India. This is a highly visible role that requires significant cross-functional collaboration with Redaptive’s Sales, Program Development, Finance, and Legal teams to financially structure Redaptive’s project transactions from initial proposal development through underwriting, funding, contracting, and closing.

The role will directly contribute to Redaptive’s top and bottom lines by successfully structuring deals to close while managing Redaptive’s profitability. This role is primarily internal facing and will report to the Director of Deal Structuring and Proposal Operations.

Key Responsibilities

    • Technical Requirements
    • Significant experience in financial modeling and constructing comprehensive models that accurately represent cash flow
    • Highly comfortable in Excel: can design or reverse engineer financial models to simplify complex analyses
    • Experienced financial acumen: can explain IRR, DCF analysis, NPV, ROI, and Margin Analyses
    • Ability to identify key financial assumptions and trends that would impact future results
    • Attention to detail and high standards for quality of work

Requirements/Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Engineering, or equivalent (required)
    • 3+ years of relevant experience (financial modeling, data analysis, project finance)
    • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint (required)
    • Experience with modeling project finance
    • Basic understanding of energy conservation and associated measures
    • Experience with reading and understanding legal contracts
    • Staying current with the rapidly evolving market environment and regulatory policies concerning the renewable energy sector

    • Travel: Up to 50% of domestic travel time is expected for this position and requires overnight travel.
    • Expected annual salary: $91,000 - $103,000 (subject to adjustment for relevant experience, skills, and geolocation)
    • Annual bonus target: 15% of base pay earnings
