Redaptive is looking for a highly motivated, experienced Senior Payroll Accountant. The Senior Payroll Accountant will be a key addition to the finance organization as Redaptive continues to grow. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for the calculation of certain complex and confidential payroll-related transaction including monthly commission payments for US-based employees, bonus payments, and the auditing of all expense reports submitted by US-based employees. This person will be a high-profile business partner for Sales, Legal, FP&A, and Corporate Accounting and will be a key resource for establishing and maintaining business processes. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated record of success in positions of increasing responsibility. Job Responsibilities

    • Calculate monthly commission payments for US-based employees including reviewing and interpreting new revenue contracts, as necessary, to ensure appropriate commission calculations within CaptivateIQ according to approved Plans.
    • Calculate off-cycle commission payment, as necessary.
    • Interpret and write complex Excel formulas to update CaptivateIQ database/software, as necessary.
    • Timely and accurately submit commission payment details to US Payroll department.
    • Audit expense reports for all US-based employees.
    • Timely and accurately perform month-end close duties for various payroll-related general ledger accounts (expense report accruals, commissions, bonus, and payroll) including: reconciling the general ledger to supporting documentation and performing any necessary journal entries.
    • Establish strong working relationship and partnership with Legal and Sales.
    • Provide necessary support and detail to auditors, both financial and tax, by keeping the general ledger activity documented, supported and organized.
    • Lead continuous review of processes and controls around revenue streams and identify improvements.
    • Develop and streamline processes using system automation and tools to maximize efficiency and accuracy of revenue accounting systems and processes.
    • Work Timings: 12:00pm – 9 pm

Job Requirements/Qualifications

    • Degree in Accounting equivalent to United States Bachelor’s degree
    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) designation
    • 6-8 years of relevant experience (commission calculations) including progressive corporate accounting experience at a public company.
    • Technically strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX requirements
    • Experience with NetSuite, SalesForce, CaptivateIQ, and Expensify a plus
    • Advanced Excel skills including ability to interpret and write complex formulas
    • Excellent database skills
