As an Electronics/RF Engineer with the Redhorse Cyber Analytics division, you’ll sharpen your skills while providing mission-critical technical solutions and support to a respected government customer.
Position Description:
The Electronics/RF Engineer will design and develop custom RF solutions to support our customer’s mission. Coordination with customer management and field operators, engineers, other contractors, and vendors is necessary to troubleshoot software/hardware issues and maintain critical operations. You will liaise with manufacturers/vendors and maintain documentation for procedures, guides, and inventory. Excellent communications and team skills are required.
Basic Requirements for Skills, Experience, Education and Credentials
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar discipline. Additional work experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
- 5+ years of technical experience as an electrical engineer, electronics engineer, or other related discipline.
- Experience deploying and maintaining electronics solutions with built-in RF features
- Understanding of common RF technologies including cellular and satellite communications, GPS, and other wireless communications.
- Experience operating cell site simulators and testing that devices properly connect and communicate as designed.
- Prior experience creating and maintaining technical documentation and user-facing documentation such as user guides.
- Active TS clearance is required.
