The Redhorse Cyber Analytics division is seeking Electronics Technicians with expertise in tracking and direction-finding technology. You will ensure mission-critical systems and devices remain available and secure with our talented team on your side.
Position Description:
The Electronics Technicians perform quality assurance/functional testing custom electronic devices to meet mission-specific requirements. Coordination with program leads, field personnel, and other customer teams and contractors to maintain critical operations. You will assemble tracking devices and ensure sufficient power supplies (batteries) are available. You will also create user guides and conduct cross-training as needed. Excellent communications and team skills are required.
Basic Requirements for Skills, Experience, Education and Credentials
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar discipline. Additional work experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
- 5+ years of technical experience as a technician working with electronic solutions.
- Experience installing, configuring, debugging, troubleshooting, and analyzing performance of electronic devices to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Understanding of RF communications technologies commonly used on portable devices.
- Experience testing hardware solutions, documenting results, and collaborating with engineering teams to resolve issues.
- Experience writing user-facing documentation and providing user training.
- Active TS clearance is required.
