POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Minor League Baseball Technology Operator will be a member of the Baseball Technology team and
is responsible for collecting data and operating performance technology at the Portland Sea Dogs. This
individual will collaborate closely with the Video & Technology Associate, as well as the Press Box staff.
We expect you to be available, in-person, and available on weekends to operate KinaTrax / TrackMan for
3-4 home games per homestand. This role pays $15 per hour and will not exceed 35 hours per week. Hours will vary based on team schedule.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collect TrackMan data by utilizing their provided tagging software, properly tagging pitch types and game flow.
- Collect KinaTrax data by utilizing their provided tagging software, ensuring our metadata is correct and the video clips a proper duration.
- Interact with the Video & Technology Associate before, during, and after the game to ensure all our data is precise and accurate.
- We expect proper press box etiquette, and in return will provide a learning opportunity for the chosen candidates.

- Prior experience in baseball/softball is preferred.
