Redwood Credit Union is looking for an Automation Analyst who will be responsible for enterprise-wide automation projects utilizing Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software and workflow automation tools. The ideal candidate will drive the analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of automation applications, leveraging business knowledge to identify, define and develop solutions for the organization to benefit from RPA platforms.

Essential Functions
Automation Analysis and Development
• Lead all phases of system design, development, testing and support.
• Provide status updates, work plans, written documentation, and training.
• Develop and maintain quality assurance standards to ensure daily, weekly, and month-end functions are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
• Streamline all automation processes by eliminating unnecessary tasks.
• Development of robust business infrastructure workflows to minimize time required for execution of business task.
• Test, analyze, and implement current software vendor upgrades.
• Prioritize technical issues and communicate resolution times as needed.
• Maintain the imaging system of organizational documents.
• Maintain Redwood Group uptime standards when working on project conversions and cutovers.
• Manage 3rd party support (consultants and vendors) in which it regards to implementing and enhancing business systems.
• Develop and maintain quality assurance standards to endure daily, weekly, and month-end functions are completed in an accurate and timely manner.

Computer Operations
• Create, develop, and integrate new processes and instructions for installed Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
• Identify opportunities for enterprise workflow automation and process improvements.
• Maintain service log of information on all workflow errors.
• Ensure scheduled workflow jobs are processing timely and accurately.
• Develop and maintain current department instruction and check-off sheets to ensure daily and monthly functions are completed timely and accurately.
• Post business reports in a timely and accurate manner.

Technology Support
• Respond to high priority phone and e-mail requests for document assistance.
• Supply technical support for issues relating to enterprise workflow and RPA systems.
• Provide exceptional service to all Members, volunteers, team members, and service providers.
• Uphold established department service standards.
• Contact vendors to schedule support and maintenance work on systems software.
• Review all creations, deletions, and modifications of existing and new users daily for automation systems.
• Setup and maintain user security for workflow and RPA platforms.
• Ensure proper encryption of all data being sent from and received by Redwood Group staff to outside vendors.

Other Functions
• Maintain technical proficiencies to support current and planned hardware and software computing needs.

    • Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with a diverse group of people.
    • Ability to work weekends and late nights when needed.

Physical Requirements

    • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, sit, walk, twist, and turn.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
    • Ability to use a computer keyboard and calculator.
    • Work environment is indoors; majority of the time is spent sitting at a desk.
The ideal candidate has a combination of education and experience equivalent to an associate degree in business or closely related field, with a minimum of three years’ RPA development, or equivalent programming experience and at least three years’ experience working with Python, Powershell, Java Script and Microsoft VPL. Experience with UiPath, Automation Anywhere or BluePrism highly preferred.

Compensation: Base starting range: $44.00 to $57.00 per hour commensurate with experience.
Our base salary starting range is based on scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, and internal peer equity.
