We’re looking for Bilingual Contact Centre Agents for a government-adjacent organization in the heart of Ottawa. You’ll support customers over the phone, email, chat, and even video calls, providing guidance and solutions during challenging times.
Position Details
- Salary: $20.50/hour
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, available between 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
- Training Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM for the first month
- Contract Type: Full-time, temporary with potential for permanency
- Location: West Downtown Ottawa. Easily accessible by public transit (paid parking available)
Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for clients, offering calm and supportive assistance
- Answer calls, emails, chats, and video calls
- Provide helpful advice and solutions based on company policies
- Ensure every customer feels heard and valued
- Keep accurate records using CRM tools
Qualifications
- Fluent in French and English (this is a must!)
- Call center or customer service experience is a big plus
- Strong communication skills and a knack for problem-solving
- Ability to multitask and manage your time effectively
- Must be eligible to obtain government security clearance (5 years living in Canada)
