For over 37 years, the company has provided full building envelope services, including roofing,
sheet metal, waterproofing and wall system installations for commercial, industrial and large -scale
residential projects throughout Western Canada.
They are hiring enthusiastic, full-time Architectural Sheet Metal Workers to assist us in the installation of
advanced wall systems using the latest technologies. They are seeking those who have a minimum of 3
years’ architectural sheet metal experience.
Responsibilities:
- Expertly applying material to the exterior walls of buildings, keeping precision and
- aesthetic in mind while also working in an efficient time frame
- Skillfully install everything from paper, strapping, flashing, Blueskin, window and door
- trim, to posts, beams, fascia, soffit, siding, and exterior insulation
- Measuring, marking, and cutting various gauges of metal
- Supervise and instruct labourers and apprentice level workers
- Assist Team Leads and Journeymen with various construction activities, as directed
- Operating various types of lifts safely and effectively
- Maintain proper safety codes and procedures
Qualifications:
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights
- Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, and carry heavy tools and materials (50lbs)
- Minimum 3 years of architectural sheet metal experience (Journeyman ticket – an asset)
- Fall Protection Certificate and WHMIS – an asset but training can be provided
- Class 5 Driver’s license – preferred
$30 - $40 an hour
