For over 37 years, the company has provided full building envelope services, including roofing, sheet metal, waterproofing and wall system installations for commercial, industrial and large -scale residential projects throughout Western Canada. They are hiring enthusiastic, full-time Labourers and Apprentice Roofers to assist us in the installation of advanced roofing systems using the latest technologies. Ideally, they are seeking those who have prior construction or roofing experience who are looking for a career to develop into, not just a job. Responsibilities
- Assist Team Leads and Journeymen in constructing and assembling layers of roofing from insulation to all types of flat roofing membranes (Including TPO, EPDM, SBS, PVC)
- Assist in the installation and/or repair of PVC and vinyl type flat roofs of commercial buildings
- Work on new roofing installations and replacement of previously installed/damaged systems
- Install sheet metal flashings
- Maintain proper safety codes and procedures
- Work as a vital part of a knowledgeable team to make sure that all work is completed in a timely mannerxfh
Requirements
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights
- Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, and carry heavy tools and materials (50lbs)
- Minimum 1 year of related construction experience
- Fall Protection Certificate and WHMIS – an asset but training can be provided
- Class 5 Driver’s license – preferred
$25 - $30 an hour
