Our employer partner, a well known food & beverage franchise is looking for a motivated & customer driven Store Lead Assistant to add to their thriving team!
Reporting to the Store Lead, the Assistant Store Lead will assist the Store Lead in the overseeing of store staff in daily Operations, handle end of day procedures and ensure best practices for inventory. This will be accomplished through strong servant leadership and by implementing best practices based on Booster Juice standard operational procedures and memorable customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists the Store Lead in developing annual business/marketing plans, designed to increase sales and control operational costs, manages overall execution, and measuring of results.
- Assists Store Lead in reporting timely and accurate daily financials and reports monthly on store Key Performance Indicators and variances
- Assists the Store Lead in recruiting and selecting suitable crew members for a store.
- Ensures crew members are adequately trained in product knowledge, service excellence, policies and procedures and sales techniques. Oversees the company's training.
- Develops and maintains proper scheduling of crew members to ensure service excellence and staffing efficiency. Monitors time keeping records to ensure accuracy.
- Effectively communicates job expectations, performance goals and company standards to crew members to assist them to achieve maximum potential
- Assists the Store Lead in evaluating crew members and provides regular coaching/feedback and encouragement to crew members.
- Acts promptly and fairly in problem solving and in dealing with crew member disputes.
- Assists in the responsibility for daily bank deposits and overall cash management within the store in the absence of the Store Lead.
- Assists in ordering and managing product while efficiently manages store inventory
- Assists in School Drops including overall execution and timely deliveries
- Assists to maintain COGS (as per budgeted)
- Assists to maintain Labour Cost (as per budgeted)
- Handles minor maintenance issues in the store including simple troubleshooting of equipment.
- Assists to maintain records of equipment maintenance, repairs and servicing in the absence of the store lead
- To maintain a score of 90% or better (A) in the Brand Promise Report
- Assists Store Lead in maintaining housekeeping of the store
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in retail or quick-service restaurant environment.
- Exceptional, upbeat customer service skills.
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling, inventory control, scheduling, and maintaining cleanliness & merchandising standards.
- Flexibility to work varied hours—including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
$18 - $20 an hour
Hourly Wage: $18/hr and up (based on experience)
Additional Compensation: Tips
Benefits: Health and dental coverage after 3 months (50% of premium covered)
Vacation: 2 weeks (4% vacation pay)
