As a Manager Software Engineering, your primary mission will be to manage highly effective team of software engineers and support new and existing Relativity software products, in a brand new, startup-style Relativity office in Krakow, Poland.   
We’re looking for someone who has an interest in developing next-generation technologies and a passion for getting things done. Is experienced and leverages to solve complex problems. Job Responsibilities

    • Managing a highly effective team of software engineers. As well as the professional development of your reports while being the subject matter expert for the product features the team is involved in. 
    • Acting as a liaison between the development team and product managers, designers, and other teams. Communicating technical aspects to non-technical stakeholders 
    • Identifying potential risks in software projects and proactively implementing strategies to mitigate them. 
    • Continuously improving software development processes and methodologies to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency and staying up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends to inform technical decisions and keep the team competitive. 
    • Maintaining a customer-centric approach to software development, ensuring that software solutions meet user requirements and expectations. 
    • Manager Software Engineering performs the following functions, in addition to others, in the administration of their position: 
    • Provide leadership to the team. This includes making critical technical decisions, setting best collaboration standards, and ensuring that best practices are followed in software development. 
    • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product managers, designers, and quality assurance. 
    • Improves operations by conducting systems analysis; recommends changes in policies and procedures. 
    • Provides guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team, helping them grow their skills and advance in their careers. 
    • Is always open to new ideas and encourages innovative practices amongst peers. 

Your Skills

    •  8+ years of experience in software development of commercial-grade systems and applications with a proven track record of building and leading successful engineering teams 
    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related disciplines 
    • Good understanding of software development, CI/CD processes and Cloud technologies. 
    • Fluency in English. 
    • Knowledge and experience in working with Agile frameworks. 
    • Effective communication and teamwork skills. 

Compensation:

    • Compensation Relativity is committed to competitive, fair and equitable compensation practices
    • This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, annual performance bonus target of 10%, and long-term incentives. The expected salary range for this role is between 255,000 and 378,000 gross/year (Employment Contract). The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
