We're building safety-enhancing technology for aviation that will save lives. Automated aviation systems will enable a future where air transportation is safer, more convenient and fundamentally transformative to the way goods — and eventually people — move around the planet. We are a team of mission-driven engineers with experience across aerospace, robotics and self-driving cars working to make this future a reality.

As a Business Development Intern at Reliable Robotics, you will be the lead designer of our Bay Academy Apprentice Program. You will conduct assessments, analysis, and develop the formal program which Reliable and other Silicon Valley startups will use. Our Apprentice Program benefits high school students who want to explore aerospace and STEM by providing paid summer apprenticeships to them. This apprenticeship program adds value to startups and the local community by providing a platform for students to explore the different engineering disciplines impacting the future of STEM. Your contributions to the group will help shape our program in the short, medium, and long term.

Responsibilities

In your role as a Business Development Intern, you will gather, analyze, and synthesize information from a variety of sources into actionable output products (business plan, marketing materials, presentations, documentation) for company leadership and program participants. You
will create the standard operating procedure of how we manage the program overall and research additional partner opportunities. The analysis and assessments you will produce will be important for future strategic and tactical corporate decisions. This internship will provide you the opportunity to understand in greater depth the non-profit industry and how businesses can involve students prior to college to help lead them to a rewarding career in STEM.
