Are you an experienced Gameplay Designer with a passion for creating immersive and engaging gameplay experiences? Join us as a Principal Gameplay Designer to lead the 3Cs (Character, Camera and Control) design for our project, Vanguard.
Vanguard is a is a free-to-play, co-operative PvE shooter that combines Remedy’s narrative expertise and action gameplay into an immersive multiplayer experience. The game is developed with Unreal Engine for PC and console platforms.

What you get to do:
- As a Principal Gameplay Designer you will be responsible for delivering intuitive, responsive character controls and camera systems for a 3rd person action game which supports and enhances the creative direction of the game product.
- You will work closely with our gameplay, design, and programming teams to ensure that the 3Cs systems meet the highest standards for quality and performance.
- You will design, prototype and script core gameplay features with the support and direction of the Lead Designer and the Game Director.
- You will collaborate with other content disciplines to ensure your features have the various feedback systems required to make in-game cause and effect clear to players.
- You will plan your work to ensure your features are delivered on time and to an exceptional level of quality.
- You will mentor and review the work of other less experienced team members.
What you bring to the role:
- You are an experienced Gameplay Designer, with previous experience working with 3Cs design, and a passion for creating engaging and immersive gameplay experiences.
- You are able to prototype and implement features using Unreal Blueprints and/or C++
- You can give and take constructive feedback while interacting with leads, publishers and other team members, using it to improve the product.
- You previously worked with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- You enjoy working in a friendly team environment, you are dedicated to improve your craft and make the best game possible.
