Remedy Entertainment, the creator of Control®, Quantum Break®, Max Payne®, Alan Wake® and Death Rally® and one of the world’s leading independent game studios is looking for a Senior UI Designer for a new exciting online multiplayer game. 
 
Do you want to create new high-quality design experiences for our players to enjoy? As a Senior UI Designer at Remedy, you will have the creative freedom and autonomy to reinvent UX for a new multiplayer game. At the same time, you will have the support and assistance of a solid and experienced team.

What you bring to the role

    • In this role you will design, prototype and implement core gameplay UI, HUD, and game menus under the direction of the Lead Designer and the Game Director. 
    • With the support of the rest of the design team, you will be responsible for the key systems, driving them from concept to full implementation. 
    • You’ll have the chance to define the visual style of the game’s UI and create polished visual assets.  
    • You will create different kind of design documents to illustrate and communicate your ideas to other team members 
    • You will plan your work to ensure the features are visually compelling and delivered on time 

What you get to do

    • You are an experienced UI Designer that worked on implementing UI widgets and features in Unreal or similar game engines, and already shipped one or more projects on PC and/or console 
    • You are proficient with UI design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe CC, Figma, etc. 
    • You have a strong portfolio showcasing your design projects and UI samples 
    • You can give and receive constructive feedback when interacting with other team members, keeping the focus on making the best game possible. 
    • You are dedicated to contributing towards an open and friendly team environment 

The ideal candidate will also have

    • Motion design and/or animation experience 
    • Interest and understanding of F2P/GaaS 
    • Experience working with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban etc.) 
    • Interest towards UX design, cognitive science and human behavior
