Role Overview

As a rapidly growing social enterprise, we are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Finance & Accounts Associate in our Finance team. You will play a pivotal role in supporting rePurpose Global's financial endeavors, managing end-to-end accounting and bookkeeping processes, ensuring compliance with India and US GAAP standards, and overseeing day-to-day financial operations. This full-time position offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in the dynamic world of corporate finance while making a meaningful impact on our organization's growth and mission.

Your Responsibilities

    • Financial Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, and Employee Reimbursements. Execute month-end close procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Assist in efficient and accurate payroll processing.
    • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements to support business decision-making. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for audit purposes.
    • Compliance: Handle TDS, GST, and ROC compliances in accordance with Indian regulations. Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring the company's adherence to statutory requirements.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with the finance and accounting team to achieve departmental goals. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address financial queries and provide necessary information.
    • Audit Support: Assist in the preparation and coordination of audits, both internal and external. Ensure compliance with audit recommendations and implement corrective actions as needed.

What Are We Looking For:

📌 2-4 years of experience
📌 Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
📌 Chartered Accountant (CA) candidate or proven experience in a similar role
📌 Proficiency in working with Tally and Quickbooks Online is essential
📌 Solid understanding of Indian and US accounting principles and regulations
📌 Experience in managing TDS, GST, and ROC compliances
📌 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
📌 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
📌 Distinctly passionate about environmental sustainability and socio-economic impact
