Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary Head of Marketing and Brand to lead our marketing efforts in pursuit of our mission to end plastic pollution. This role requires a dynamic leader who can blend strategic vision with tactical execution to drive marketing strategies that resonate with both decision-makers at businesses and end-consumers.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Brand Leadership: Craft and communicate a compelling brand narrative that differentiates rePurpose Global in the marketplace, aligning with our strategic goals and mission.
- Marketing Capability Building: Build and scale in-house marketing capabilities, owning key initiatives from concept through execution, including budget management and P&L responsibility.
- Integrated Marketing Campaigns: Develop and lead integrated marketing campaigns across all channels, ensuring alignment with our business objectives and brand voice.
- Digital and Channel Expertise: Exhibit deep understanding of digital marketing landscapes, optimizing our presence across traditional and emerging platforms to maximize engagement and ROI.
- Partnership Development: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships to enhance brand visibility and market penetration. This includes negotiations and collaborations that align with our strategic goals.
- Team Development and Leadership: Hire, train, and lead a marketing team capable of executing complex campaigns and initiatives. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize analytics to guide marketing strategies, assess campaign effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement
- Cross-functional Synergy: Collaborate closely with sales, product development, and customer success teams to create a unified approach to market penetration and customer engagement.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees or certifications in relevant areas are a plus.
- Proven Leadership: Extensive experience in a leadership role within marketing, demonstrating success in brand building and campaign management in a B2B environment.
- Strategic Vision and Execution: Ability to develop strategic marketing plans and execute them effectively across various industries and geographies, demonstrating a clear understanding of communicating to a diverse range of audiences (B2B & B2C) and marketing dynamics.
- Brand and Content Mastery: Strong branding experience with a proven track record in crafting compelling content and narratives tailored to business clients and stakeholders.
- Analytical Proficiency: Strong analytical skills with experience in utilizing business intelligence tools to inform marketing strategies and decisions.
- Digital Marketing Expertise: Proficiency in digital marketing, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media, with a track record of optimizing channel performance.
- Collaborative and Influential: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building relationships across functions and with external partners.
- Adaptability and Innovation: Agile in adapting to evolving market conditions and proactive in anticipating market trends and customer needs.
- Mentality: Hungry, capable, and ambitious with entrepreneurial spirit, with a persistent drive to better understanding how to amplify growth for rePurpose.
Remuneration:
- Competitive Compensation: Enjoy a highly competitive salary package based on your skills and experience. The compensation range for this role is $200,000 - $250,000. If this is out of your preferred range, we’d still encourage you to apply as we value the right fit over anything else!

$200,000 - $250,000 a year
We offer a flexible salary range for this job posting that will be customized based on the qualifications of the chosen candidate. Our compensation strategy takes into account various factors, including education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and market alignment.
Location Preference:
The role is hybrid working, we are looking for the team members to be located at our head office in New York City, with weekly in-office days at our office at 1460 Broadway. We have a truly global team - with members across Miami, New York, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, London, Nairobi, Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, and Jakarta.
