Who you are

We are looking for a superstar with breadth and depth of sales and business development experience – someone who can drive the function, while getting their hands dirty. We aren’t looking for a yes-person – you won’t have the time to do everything, so prioritising your workload and focusing on the highest impact initiatives will be an important part of your role.

You are:

    • A highly motivated individual with a strong desire to be in sales and have previous experience in an outbound sales role.
    • A hunter by behavior and mindset and you are not afraid of cold calling.
    • You are eager for coaching and have a passion for developing your sales skills.
    • You are engaging in your communication and possess strong storytelling abilities.
    • You are respectful, and possess the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

As the first hire in this business-critical team, you will:

    • Be the first point of contact with potential customers informing them about the Respondent platform.
    • Qualify outbound leads based on whether their company is a good fit for the Respondent platform.
    • Research and craft personalized outreach to target accounts.
    • Utilize phone, email and social tools to connect with prospects.
    • Understand how we can help the research professionals at Agencies and Consultancies to gain a deep understanding of their customers’ customers.
    • You will collaborate with marketing on regional and virtual events and other bespoke account based marketing efforts.

What you'll do

    • Grow revenue: rapidly grow Respondent for Agency & Consultancies in the U.S. region to help hit the company’s overall revenue aspirations.
    • Customer enthusiasm: extend Respondent’s high customer satisfaction across Agencies & Consultancies and continue to prioritize user feedback and excitement as this part of the business accelerates.
    • Best-in-class processes, practices, and efficiency: create, educate and refine the team practices, sales playbooks, and KPIs needed for operating as a top tech business (including but not limited to): pipeline development, conversion rates, forecasting, hiring, performance management, enablement, training, and cross-functional collaboration.
    • When the time is right help to hire, motivate, develop and retain the talent we need to accomplish the above, while focusing daily on coaching best practices to enable internal career mobility where necessary, and possible.

    • Brandon Bidlack, Head of Marketing who is growing our researcher and participant base.
