We are seeking a System Administrator in Mexico City to support our IT infrastructure and ensure smooth operations for Restaurant365. This role is responsible for managing firewalls, switches, access points, and handling device management across in country. The ideal candidate will also provide in-office IT support and manage the onboarding and offboarding of employees.
Candidates must reside in Mexico City to be considered for the role.
How you'll add value:
- Network & Security Management: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot firewalls, switches, and access points; monitor network performance and security, ensuring reliability and uptime; implement and enforce IT security policies to protect company data.
- Device & IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee device procurement, setup, and lifecycle management in country using Intune, JamF, ABM, Autopilot, Bluetally; manage software and hardware configurations for employees; ensure compliance with IT policies and best practices.
- In-Office IT Support: Provide day-to-day IT support for employees, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues; support video conferencing, printers, and other office technology; maintain and improve IT documentation for internal processes.
- Employee Onboarding & Offboarding: Set up accounts, email, and devices for new hires; ensure offboarding processes are followed, including account deactivation and device recovery.
What you'll need to be successful in this role:
- 3+ years of experience in a System Administrator or IT Support role.
- Strong knowledge of firewall, switch, and access point management (Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, or similar).
- Experience with Windows and macOS device management.
- Proficiency in Active Directory, Office 365, and cloud-based IT solutions.
- Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and remote support tools. Freshservice is familiarity is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity, VPN, and Wi-Fi issues.
- Strong communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple IT tasks efficiently.
- Experience supporting IT Organizations from helpdesk to administrator type activities.
- Knowledge of endpoint security and compliance.
- Experience with SaaS applications and cloud-based IT management tools.
