We're looking for a thoughtful and detail-oriented Product Content Specialist to lead our in-app messaging efforts and contribute to our technical content strategy. This hybrid role sits at the intersection of product, UX, and User Learning crafting experiences that help our users succeed from within the product and beyond. 

You’ll be the go-to expert for building and optimizing In-App guides, tooltips, and onboarding flows, while also collaborating on user documentation, release notes, and help center content. If you love simplifying complex ideas, have a sharp eye for user experience, and enjoy wearing a few different hats, we’d love to meet you. 

How you'll add value:

    • In-App Messaging & Content Management: Own the creation, deployment, and maintenance of in-app messaging; partner with product managers, user learning, and product design to plan and prioritize messaging needs; create and test tooltips, onboarding walkthroughs, surveys, and feature announcements; use Pendo analytics to measure engagement and make data-driven improvements. 
    • Technical Writing & Product Content: Write and maintain user-facing documentation such as knowledge base articles, how-to guides, and FAQs; collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand new features and translate them into clear, helpful content; help draft release notes and change logs for internal and external use; ensure all content follows voice and tone guidelines and is consistent across platforms; advocate for clear, accessible language and contribute to improving our content standards. 

What you'll need to be successful in this role:

    • 2–5 years experience in content writing, UX writing, technical writing, or a similar role. 
    • Hands-on experience with Pendo or comparable in-app messaging platforms (e.g., WalkMe, Appcues, Userlane). 
    • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in plain language. 
    • Understanding of user experience principles and how content fits into product design. 
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with strong attention to detail. 
    • Comfortable working cross-functionally with product, engineering, design, and customer-facing teams. 

    • PREFERRED
    • Experience working in SaaS or software product environments. 
    • Familiarity with content management tools  
    • Basic HTML/CSS or experience working in web-based authoring tools. 
    • Experience with analytics or A/B testing tools to inform content decisions.

    • This position has a salary range of $87,083.33 - $121,916.67 / year. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location.
