The Opportunity
This is not your typical cold-calling sales job. As a Sales Account Executive, your mission is simple and impactful: take already-warm, highly interested leads across the finish line. You’ll be the last and most important touchpoint in their journey to becoming a funded Rocket Dollar customer.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building trust, answering final questions, and driving conversions — all without hunting for leads.
Key Responsibilities
- Own a steady stream of inbound leads: Individuals who’ve already expressed strong interest or begun the account setup process.
- Engage prospects via phone, email, and video to answer final questions, resolve concerns, and guide them confidently to account funding.
- Track and manage your pipeline, ensuring timely, high-quality follow-up and clear next steps for every lead.
- Act as a subject-matter guide for RocketDollar products and the funding process.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Success and Support to ensure a seamless handoff post-funding.
What you Bring:
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, customer success, or account management (bonus points for B2C, fintech, or inbound sales experience).
- Familiarity with retirement accounts, alternative investments, or the broader financial services landscape is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a natural sense of empathy — you know how to listen and guide without pressure.
- Comfortable working with CRMs (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and remote tools (Slack, Zoom, etc.).
- A self-starter who’s motivated by closing deals, hitting targets, and making a real impact.
- Passion for personal finance, investing, or retirement planning is a plus.
$45,000 - $58,000 a year
Competitive base salary, plus commission ranging from 30% to 100% of base, depending on performance.
