Retro Biosciences is a fast-growing biopharma start up using high-throughput, high-dimensional approaches to develop therapies for diseases driven by the biology of aging. Our mission is to increase healthy human lifespan by 10 years.

We are looking for a highly organized and self-motivated Lab Operations Team Member who craves a challenge and feels energized to roll up their sleeves. You will work in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment as a member of the Retro Operations team. While your primary responsibility will be to assist in day-to-day research operations, you will juggle multiple balls and contribute to various initiatives and special projects.

What you'll do in this role:

    • field day-to-day requests for lab support
    • support acquisition and disposition of lab equipment
    • keep labs well organized for efficient scientific work 
    • manage incoming and outgoing lab shipments, including sample logistics
    • move, set up, and troubleshoot lab equipment
    • maintain accurate records of hazardous materials and waste
    • be on-call for emergencies, some weekends and holidays

You might thrive in this role if you:

    • have a bachelor’s degree - Biology or related field preferred
    • have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
    • move fast and maintain a high level of attention to detail, organization, and follow-up 
    • are resourceful and can figure out how to solve unusual tasks
    • are able to lift and move heavy equipment, at least 50 lbs

The annual salary range for this role is $75,000-$85,000 annually.
