Role Overview
We are seeking a Global Data Privacy Manager to lead our global privacy program. This role will proactively monitor, interpret, and communicate changes in data privacy regulations across all global regions where we operate, ensuring our products, processes, and vendor relationships remain compliant. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in global privacy frameworks (NA, EU, APAC, and beyond), SaaS industry experience, and the ability to partner cross-functionally with Product, Implementation, Legal, and HR teams. Experience in hospitality tech or MarTech is a plus.
What You'll Do
- Track and interpret global privacy and compliance laws, including GDPR, CCPA, and regional equivalents in NA, APAC, EU, and other operational markets.
- High level understanding of Global Regional Telecommunications and Marketing Communication laws.
- Along with the ability to communicate cross-functionally with multiple departments and stake holders is required
- Forecast upcoming regulations that may impact business operations, data collection, aggregation, sale, and communications (email, voice, messaging, chat, cookies).
- Advise product teams on upcoming regional regulation changes and requirements and ensure product compliance in all markets.
- Review vendor Data Protection Agreements (DPAs) and other contractual privacy documents.
- Partner with implementation teams to align product deployments with evolving regulatory standards.Strong understanding of KYC (Know Your Customer) and KYB (Know Your Business) processes, including regulatory requirements and best practices for risk management, fraud prevention, and customer due diligence.
- Knowledge of AI technologies, practical use cases, and emerging legal and regulatory frameworks governing artificial intelligence, data privacy, and compliance.
- Provide guidance on employee data privacy practices, including data retention timelines by region.
- Partner with HR and Legal to maintain compliance with local employment privacy laws.
- Maintain and update privacy documentation, policies, and procedures.
- Support the Data Protection Officer (DPO), depending on organizational needs.
What You'll Bring
- Certified privacy professional (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, or equivalent) required.
- 5+ years’ experience in a privacy/compliance role within a SaaS or Marketing technology company
- Proven knowledge of NA, EU and APAC regulatory frameworks; familiarity with other global privacy laws is a strong plus.
- Experience advising product teams on compliance requirements.
- Strong vendor contract review and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinker who can operationalize privacy requirements into scalable processes.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a global organization.
- Strong communication skills—able to distill complex regulations into clear guidance for technical and non-technical teams.
- Proactive mindset with an eye toward anticipating changes and mitigating risks.

$150,000 - $180,000 a year
This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Revinate and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including (but not limited to) the candidate’s experience, qualifications and location.
