Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and experienced IT Engineering Manager to lead our cybersecurity initiatives, drive IT automation, and oversee the architecture and performance of our data warehouse operations. This role requires a blend of strong technical expertise and leadership capabilities to guide cross-functional teams, implement innovative solutions, and maintain the integrity, security, and efficiency of our IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, implementation, and oversight of enterprise cybersecurity strategies to protect organizational data and IT assets.
Drive the development and deployment of IT automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual processes.
Manage the architecture, performance, and scalability of the company’s data warehouse environment.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable, secure solutions.
Establish and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices aligned with regulatory and compliance frameworks.
Mentor and lead a team of engineers and analysts, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Evaluate emerging technologies to strengthen cybersecurity posture, improve automation capabilities, and enhance data management systems.
Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated and effective technology solutions.
Monitor system performance, conduct risk assessments, and proactively implement improvements.
Produce clear and concise technical documentation, reports, and executive presentations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT engineering, with a strong focus on cybersecurity, automation, and data management.
At least 3 years of experience managing technical teams in a fast-paced IT environment.
Proven experience managing large-scale data warehouses and implementing automation frameworks.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat landscapes, and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, encryption).
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and modern data warehouse solutions like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
Strong leadership, project management, and team-building skills.
Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and communication abilities.
Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, CISM, AWS, ASA).
