Senior Operations Manager – Telehealth & Clinical Services
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Operations Manager with extensive experience scaling telemedicine services and managing operations within clinical healthcare environments. This role is critical to optimizing daily operations, leading cross-functional teams, and expanding service capabilities in alignment with growth strategies and regulatory compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and optimize day-to-day operations of both telehealth and in-person clinical service lines, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and compliant care delivery.
Lead and develop cross-functional teams, including clinical providers, support staff, and telehealth operations personnel.
Design and scale telemedicine workflows and SOPs to support growth across multiple markets or regions.
Develop, monitor, and analyze KPIs focused on patient satisfaction, cost-efficiency, operational performance, and workforce productivity.
Partner with clinical leadership on quality assurance, staff training, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, CMS, Joint Commission, etc.).
Drive process improvements and leverage digital tools to enhance care coordination, patient engagement, and telehealth utilization.
Oversee vendor relationships, including telehealth platform providers and clinical technology vendors, ensuring cost-effective and service-aligned agreements.
Collaborate with finance and executive teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning for service delivery.
Lead operational efforts for program launches, platform enhancements, and service line expansion.
Utilize data and insights to guide operational strategies and improve the patient experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Nursing, or related field (Master’s preferred).
7+ years of experience in healthcare operations leadership, including 3–5 years specifically in telehealth or virtual care.
Demonstrated success in scaling telemedicine services and managing multi-site or multi-state operations.
Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance, accreditation standards, and digital health best practices.
Experience managing clinical workflows, leading high-performing teams, and optimizing EHR/EMR and telehealth platforms.
Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic problem-solving skills.
Adaptable and effective in fast-paced, rapidly evolving environments.
Preferred Skills:
Lean Six Sigma or equivalent process improvement certification.
Proficiency with EHR/EMR systems and healthcare data analytics platforms.
Experience launching new service lines or care delivery models across diverse patient populations.
