You consider yourself a forward-thinker who is able to impact company business & product strategy & direction through the use of quantatitve and qualitative research techniques
You have an extreme user empathy and a strong understanding of online banking trends and ways people manage their finances
You can connect product and business leaders to both current and future end users of the product

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Build a team of User Experience Researchers from scratch
Define a problem or hypothesis to be tested, demonstrated and resolved analytically
Develop robust research strategies and proposals to execute on a budget
Collect and analyze user behavior through server logs, online experiments, benchmark studies, lab studies, and surveys.
Work with designers, product managers, engineers, data scientists and research managers to prioritize research opportunities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
Advocate testing sessions results and other research findings to various teams through written reports and oral presentations.
Use your results to validate new interfaces and advocate to improve old ones

WHAT SKILLS YOU'LL NEED
The ideal product researcher will have experience delivering real-world impact through execution of research projects. They understand and are experts in a variety of techniques like observation, interviews, contextual inquiry, segmentation, quantitative surveys, literature review, usability testing and others. They are creative, work collaboratively with cross-functional partners, and are excellent communicators.

You are an excellent communicator
You are data driven: numbers are your best friends and every one of your decisions will be backed by quantitative proof
You have experience with remote usability testing tools (e.g Keynote, Userzoom, ...)
You have experience working with external agencies to field research studies
You have a strong understanding of quantitative and qualitative research techniques, and when to use them
You have excellent working knowledge of statistics and the principles of experiment design
You can collaborate with and influence multiple teams: business, design, development...
You are proficient in interface design tools and prototyping tools is a plus
Strong visual skills and design background is a plus
