We are seeking a Systems Engineer with strong experience in identity and access management technologies, including IDP, Okta, Azure Authentication, and configuring Single Sign-On (SSO) for applications. The candidate will be responsible for supporting and evolving our IT infrastructure, ensuring robust and secure environments for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced level support for IT infrastructure including network, storage, and virtualization platforms, and cloud technologies.
- Identity provider (IDP) services - managing and configuring Okta and Azure Auth solutions, and setting up SSO for various applications. Perform Migrations from Okta to Azure Authentication.
- Act as a primary escalation point for issues related to server infrastructure, including Active Directory, Exchange, and Virtual environments, Azure Cloud Infra, Azure Micro Services, Azure networking, and M365 Services.
- Design, implement, and maintain IT development projects, ensuring seamless integration and functionality of diverse systems.
- Work in collaboration with various departments, including Network Engineering, Compliance, Client Data Management, Projects, and the Executive Team, to fulfil client requests effectively.
- Develop detailed project plans for IT infrastructure updates, migrations, and new deployments.
- Work directly with vendors and third parties to deploy server and software solutions.
- Engage with clients to refine their technology needs and provide strategic solutions to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven ability to manage and implement IDP, Okta, Azure Auth, and SSO configurations.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in configuring and supporting IT infrastructure based on Microsoft technologies.
- Skilled in automation and scripting, with experience in virtualization and remote access technologies.
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy Administration, and Microsoft Exchange.
- Proficient in managing and implementing virtualization and cloud technologies, including VMware, AWS, and Azure.
- Experienced with mobile device management platforms and storage solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex technical projects.
