As a GEOINT Systems Engineer, you will..

    • Analyze system capabilities with AGE and COE compliance requirements and identify gaps 
    • Maintain functional specifications that define essential technical requirements of Legacy DCGS-A, IS&A, Mission Command, and COE CPCE  
    • Maintain system engineering documentation including the System Engineering Plan, Software Requirements Traceability Matrix 
    • Cross reference mapping of GEOINT functional specifications to Intelligence or Mission Command Systems specifications and program-leveldocuments, such as the Capabilities Production Document (CPD), Information Systems Interface Control Document (IS-ICD), and Requirements Definition Package (RDP) 
    • Interact with systems users to translate their requirements into systems, hardware, and software requirements and design 
    • Plan and perform engineering research, design development, and other assignments in conformance with design, engineering and customer specifications 
    • Lead team of engineers through project completion; responsible for major technical/engineering projects of higher complexity 

GEOINT Systems Engineer qualification:

    • Master’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field 
    • 5+ years as a systems engineer for technical projects in a government customer environment 
    • Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Atlassian Jira and Confluence) 
    • Experience in requirements management to include requirements collection and analysis; including elicitation, definition, refinement, decomposition, validation, and change control 
    • Maintain traceability by establishing and maintaining the Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix (RVTM) mapping the enterprise requirements baseline to the system/functional baseline 
    • Experience conducting systems engineering analysis and trade studies 
    • Experience developing architecture and design plans for software systems

    • GEOINT/SIGINT/IMINT/GEOSPATIAL domain knowledge 
    • Knowledge of data science, big data analytics, data ingestion & manipulation, and ML 
    • Enterprise/Cloud architecture and design  
    • Familiar with DevSecOps practices and tools 
    • Deployment management tools (Puppet/Ansible/Chef/Salt Stack) 
    • Cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure, IBM, Rackspace) 
    • Containerization (Docker, Linux containers, Jails) 
    • Geospatial domain tools and methodologies: ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Desktop, Runtime, Portal, Server, Google Earth, GeoServer 
    • Open Source web technologies relative to geospatial (OGC Geopackage, WMS, WMTS, WFS, WCS) 
    • Geospatial data models and standards (NSG, GGDM, SDSFIE, SSGF)
