Job Highlights:
Are you a Cloud Systems Admin that wants to be at the forefront of developing and operating state-of-the-art Geospatial Intelligence analysis software? In this Cloud Systems Admin role, you will work directly with operational users to design, develop, and maintain capabilities that empower analysts to create actionable intelligence from the massive volumes of Geospatial Intelligence data to give our intel and combat organizations the decision advantage over our near-peer adversaries.

Clearance:
Active Top Secret clearance with an ability to obtain SCI access and willingness to obtain CI Polygraph
US Citizenship Required 

As a Cloud Systems Admin, you will...

    • Build and Maintain Infrastructure as Code for cloud-based services
    • Provide configuration management of hardware and software environment, supporting the Desktop development environment
    • Procure, install, and manage software license
    • Assist in establishment, maintenance and troubleshooting of cloud-based and on-prem networking
    • Automate development and operations processes to ensure reliability and repeatability
    • Provide and maintain standard operating systems environments
    • Work closely with developers and data integrators by providing and maintaining the environments needed to establish a consolidated data analytics environment utilizing COTS and FOSS software

Cloud Systems Admin Qualifications:

    • Associate or Bachelor's Degree
    • Experience with AWS Infrastructure
    • Information Assurance/DoD 8570 certification (like Security+) or willing to obtain within 6 months
    • Familiar with Infrastructure as Code concepts
    • Knowledge on how to build, configure, and administrate all aspects of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7 & 8
    • Must be able to apply security hardness according to DISA STIG requirements
    • Experience managing unclassified and classified development environments including workstations, servers, and GPU assets
    • Experience with maintaining, troubleshooting, and configuring cloud computing and big data environments
    • Strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills
    • Effective communication skills

Additional skills we’d like to see:

    • Experience with CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC technology
    • AWS Certification - SysOps or DevOps
    • Experience managing hybrid on-prem / cloud operating environments
    • Experience with Docker or similar container technology
    • Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration platform 
    • Experience with building and deploying Elastic Stack infrastructure
    • Experience with CICD pipelines and GitOps (like ArgoCD)
    • Experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and configuring data analytics systems
    • Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and configuring Big Data Processing and cloud based platforms: ETL, Hadoop, Elasticsearch for Hadoop, structured data, SQL schemas and queries, Databricks, etc
