Rhombus is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Commercial Sales to lead our commercial sales team in driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence. The Director of Commercial Sales will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to accelerate sales through our channel partners and resellers. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of B2B sales, experience in the SaaS industry, and a proven track record of building and managing successful sales teams. You will collaborate closely with the Regional Sales Managers, the Channel team, and report to the VP of Sales. 

What You'll Do

    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive growth in the commercial segment
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners and resellers to drive sales through indirect channels
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing commercial sales team, providing guidance, support, and coaching to maximize individual and team performance
    • Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to develop go-to-market plans, promotional campaigns, and sales enablement materials tailored to the commercial segment
    • Drive continuous improvement in sales processes, tools, and systems to streamline operations and increase efficiency
    • Represent Rhombus at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our brand, establish thought leadership, and expand our network of partners and customers
    • Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, KPIs, and ROI to senior management, providing regular updates on progress against goals and forecasts

What We're Looking For

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus
    • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, with a focus on selling SaaS-based solutions
    • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
    • Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing sales teams, including recruiting, training, and managing sales professionals
    • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable sales plans
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
    • Experience working with channel partners and resellers in the technology sector is highly desirable
    • Knowledge of the physical security industry and familiarity with related technologies (e.g., video surveillance, access control) is a plus
This is a hybrid position based in Sacramento, CA. Candidates must be able to commute to the office as needed. 

Compensation Range
Base Salary: $120,000 - $140,000
Estimated OTE (base salary + commission): $240,000 - $280,000

Additional forms of compensation, depending on the role, include uncapped commission, sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and equity in the company. Individual pay is determined based on the candidate's primary work/hiring location and additional factors, such as skills and experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. Further details about compensation for the role can be discussed during the interview process.
