We are looking for a Head of People to help us build a high-performing, mission-driven, and kind team as Ribbon enters a period of explosive growth. Your goal will be to ensure that Ribbon is a meaningful, fun, diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment that is always living our values as our culture scales. Through your work across the full-employee cycle, from recruiting to onboarding to individual and team development, you will help make Ribbon the mission-driven place to work in NYC health-tech and the best career decisions anyone has ever made.

    • You have experience scaling an early-stage, high-growth company across the full employee cycle, including recruiting, onboarding, and development

    • You have analytical rigor and a hypothesis-driven approach to make people strategy decisions and to design and improve critical processes
    • You have a strong desire to coach & improve our organization at every level, including coaching our management team, leading learning & development initiatives, and building out our People team
    • You have a commitment to and proven track record of building an inclusive, equitable, and diverse team and culture

Your day-to-day:

    • Leadership & strategy: Work closely with and be a part of our leadership team to set and execute our People strategy
    • Talent acquisition: Drive our recruiting efforts, including role definition, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and more
    • Training & development: Train and develop your teammates to ensure values and culture are evident across every step of our People experience and help our culture reach its full potential as we scale, starting with onboarding through the entire Ribbon teammate experience
    • Diversity, equity, and inclusion: Lead our DEI efforts and drive tactical initiatives to ensure that we are creating and maintaining the most diverse, equitable, inclusive, and welcoming culture possible as we grow and evolve
    • Processes & best practices: Collaborate with the whole team to define and document our people processes and Habits of Excellence
