As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented HR Generalist with a passion for technology to join our Human Resources department.  This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine your HR expertise with your knowledge of technology to drive organizational excellence. The HR Generalist will work closely with other HR team members to support, plan, develop, implement, and administer Human Resources related programs. 

The HR Generalist champions the organizational culture and serves as primary point of contact for all HR inquiries from assigned locations while supporting daily activity regarding temporary labor administration aka temp agencies, learning and development and employee rewards.

This positions supports our Midwest Region which includes: Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Missouri, and Kansas.

Education and Experience

    • Associates Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration is desired or a combination of college, business related study and practical experience.
    • Experience working with multiple temporary/staffing agencies in multiple states.
    • Manage the learning management system (LMS), including course administration, user support and reporting on training metrics and outcomes. Experience with Cornerstone LMS platform is a plus.
    • Manage the employee recognition program, including identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation and providing guidance and support to employees and managers on rewards-related matters.
    • Must possess superior organizational skills and be able to prioritize and work simultaneously on several projects.
    • Must have knowledge of generalist level HR principles and have 1+ years of experience working in an HR discipline.
    •  HR certification is a plus (SHRM-CP, PHR).
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
    • Experience with Ultimate Software (UKG)highly preferred; however, will consider experience with a similar product.

    • Ability to work independently as required to complete assigned tasks.

    • Advanced Excel skills are critical to the success of this position.
    • Approachable, positive, customer focused and solutions-oriented attitude.
    • Partner with department leaders to assess learning needs and identify priorities for employee development.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
    • Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in learning and development, incorporating new methodologies and technologies to enhance our training offerings.
    • Provide coaching and support to employees and managers to promote a culture of continuous learning and development.
