The Internal Software team at Rigetti is responsible for supporting and accelerating the continual improvement of the company's quantum processor hardware: theory and design; fabrication; device characterization for process feedback; and calibration and deployment of our quantum processing units (QPUs) for benchmarking and application development. We own data infrastructure, web applications, and a framework for writing and rewriting calibration software in Python by a team of user/developers who specialize in experimental physics and quantum benchmarking.
In this role, you will help maintain and develop one of the company's most important internal applications used in the production of our QPUs. You will collaborate closely with members of the quantum circuit design and fabrication teams, as a member of the internal software team where you will have support and mentorship in applying our knowledge and tools.

Responsibilities
- Migrate design software to work with new database schema and assist with migrating user workflows
- Maintain backlog and provide feature development
- Provide code review for contributions from domain experts in design and fabrication
Required Qualifications
- Experience working on production software (version control, testing, code review)
- Experience with Python
- Experience with relational databases and REST APIs for accessing data
- Experience working in fabrication or working with Computer Aided Design (CAD) software (or both)
$106,000 - $140,000 a year

Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, and geographic location.
