Key Responsibilities

    • Hands-on work to develop, sustain, and drive solutions to solve lithography and dry etch module and tool problems for quantum integrated circuits
    • Responsible for owning and establishing monitors that assess process or tool health and serve as predictors of product performance
    • Responsible for working with tool suppliers; Responsible for maintaining high up time of tools and module
    • Develop, document, qualify, train technicians, and transfer processes to production operations via a manufacturing execution system
    • Hands-on work with module engineering, integration and production teams to resolve design, process, and integration issues and deliver quantum integrated circuits with predictable quality and yields
    • Assess critical performance gaps and understand true specs. Organize and interpret data from experiments to answer key questions and make improvements to the process 
    • Ability to work independently, manage stakeholders and deal with ambiguity in defining activities and direction
    • High degree of comfort balancing the needs of a semiconductor fab with a flexible, agile startup environment

About You

    • Bachelors with 4-7 years experience, Masters with 3-5 years experience, or a Ph.D. with 2-5 years experience with relevant hands-on experience in physics, chemistry, materials science or equivalent background. Experienced candidates can apply and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis
    • Hands-on experience using lithography and etch tools and related processes
    • Exposure to module level integration (e.g. understands impacts from upstream, downstream and end-of-line processes). Exposure to full process-flow integration and troubleshooting is a plus.
    • Comfortable working in clean room environment, including hygiene protocols and hazmat handling protocols
    • Detail oriented, comfortable with computer-based recipe and wafer tracking systems
    • High degree of comfort with flexible, agile small company environment
    • Excellent oral communication skills, ability to work in fast-paced team environment
