The Role
We are looking for a Creative Oriented Strategy Director (Freelance) — a strategic thinker with a creative edge — to shape and execute partnership and activation strategies that connect brands, audiences, and sport in meaningful ways.
You’ll sit at the intersection of creativity and strategy — translating insights into big ideas that deliver commercial results. Working closely with our account and creative teams, you’ll lead the strategic development of partnerships, campaigns, and activations that bring brand purpose to life through sport.
Key Responsibilities:
Shape Partnership Strategy: Develop and execute partnership strategies that drive measurable business impact and complement wider marketing initiatives.
Lead Creative Strategy: Build integrated activation frameworks that translate brand values into experiences aligned with client objectives.
Insight to Action: Turn consumer insights, research, and market trends into actionable strategies with clear business rationale.
Champion Creative Thinking: Foster a culture of strategic creativity and collaboration across teams.
Client Consultancy: Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring all recommendations align with long-term brand and marketing goals.
Influence & Present: Deliver compelling strategy presentations and insights to clients and internal stakeholders, guiding decision-making.
Deliver Results: Apply experience from sports marketing, advertising, or integrated agencies to create impactful, insight-driven work.
Experience & Skills:
Proven experience in strategic planning or brand strategy within a sports marketing, sponsorship, or creative agency environment.
Strong understanding of partnership ecosystems, consumer engagement, and brand storytelling.
Confident communicator and presenter, able to influence senior stakeholders.
A passion for sport, creativity, and measurable brand impact.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
