Senior Manager, Conversion Rate Optimization

As the Senior Manager of Conversion Rate Optimization, your main focus will be to refine and enhance our website's construction and performance within the broader marketing technology framework. You'll apply your expertise in data analysis, user behavior, and conversion optimization techniques to build a best-in-class web optimization program to optimize our clients website's performance and effectiveness. Your role will involve close collaboration with product marketing, performance marketing, design and engineering teams. 

Responsibilities

    • Own and develop an ambitious and detailed website testing and personalization program.
    • Design and drive the technical requirements for site optimization and transformation via scalable web publishing, optimization and personalization. 
    • Sit in the cockpit of our clients website CMS and implement changes to website and landing page layout and experiences.
    • Provide strategic thought leadership of website redesign optimizing for conversion.
    • Generate and execute numerous A/B and multivariate tests to improve conversion, product adoption and other key metrics. 
    • Define and own the KPIs and reporting infrastructure for our clients logged out web experience.  
    • Communicate testing plans and significant outcomes to audiences at all levels of the organization.
    • Work cross-functionally with other teams, including Performance Marketing, Product, Data Science, and Engineering and Product, to create a seamless first-touch → website → conversion funnel experience.

Requirements

    • 6-8 years of professional experience in conversion optimization, product management, growth product, growth marketing, or other data-driven field.
    • Robust CMS experience is requiredOwned and/or implemented a website optimization stack (CMS, A/B testing, Analytics Personalization).
    • Proven ability to achieve statistically significant increases in conversion rates on fast-growing, consumer-oriented tech platforms.
    • Experience with analysis and data tools (SQL, Google Analytics, Looker, etc.).
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with a bias towards action.
    • Must live within commuting distance in the New York City or San Francisco area.
    • This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, must be willing to convert and commit to 3 days a week in the office.
