Rimeto is seeking a lead software engineer. This position will be responsible for driving our technical roadmap, developing our engineering team, and influencing our overall product and business strategy. This role will partner directly with Neville Bowers, technical co-founder.

Qualifications

    • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field.
    • 5+ years high quality software engineering experience.
    • Comfort in fast paced, entrepreneurial environments.
    • Experience in technical or people leadership roles.
    • Background with data infrastructure and machine learning a plus.

What you'd do in a typical week

    • Synthesize requirements from Product, Business, and Design to establish effective technical roadmaps.
    • Collaborate on technical challenges such as scaling our distributed services infrastructure, expanding the capabilities of our data processing pipelines, and extracting insight from our data.
    • Mentor team members.
    • Influence product and business strategy based on deep customer understanding.
