POSITION OVERVIEW:
This role is in Grandview Corners, Surrey, BC. To provide assistance to the daily operations and maintenance of a RioCan property to ensure a clean and safe environment for tenants, customers, contractors and employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Respond to tenant service requests in timely manner;
    • Prepare, clean, and ensure surfaces are ready for painting, including washing walls, repairing holes, and removing old paint;
    • Apply paint and other finishes to various surfaces, ensuring adherence to specifications and high-quality standards;
    • Work with the team to liaise with tenants and contractors to maintain relationships;
    • Coordinate contractor access and ensure all deficiencies are rectified;
    • Other assigned duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Currently enrolled in a related post-secondary program;
    • Interested in a career in building maintenance and operations;
    • Previous relevant experience is an asset;
    • Responsible and self-motivated team player;
    • Basic experience with maintenance repairs, including painting, plumbing, and miscellaneous repairs on site;
    • Ability to adapt to new processes and procedures;
    • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines;
    • Has an aptitude for technology use and applications;
    • Positive attitude and eager to learn.
$19 - $24 an hour
