This is what you’ll do: 
·        Join the fastest growing Finance team in the automotive industry to drive efficiency and effectiveness across every aspect of corporate finance. 
·        Produce high quality reporting, analytics, and dashboards that enable stronger decision-making from Rivian Product Development Finance and Engineering leadership 
·        Partner and communicate with stakeholders in Finance to build custom tools and reports that illustrate the financial impact of engineering decisions 
·        Produce monthly variance reports and commentary on actual development costs vs. forecasted development costs within Adaptive Insights 
·        Create custom linkages between financial reporting (Adaptive Insights) and enterprise resource planning systems (SAP) to streamline data management and reporting processes 
·        Build custom reporting tools specialized to the end-user 
·        Produce deliverables for vehicle product development gateway meetings 
·        Translate business case data and assumptions into a company-wide forecasting tool in order to provide visibility into future consolidated financial statements 
This is what you’ll need: 
·        At least two of the following: 
o   Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting 
o   2 years of corporate finance, banking, private equity, venture capital, or management consulting experience 
o   2 years of experience in a Business Intelligence role 
o   Intermediate proficiency with Adaptive Insights 
o   MBA from a top full-time MBA program 
o   CFA, FRM, and/or CPA or foreign accountancy equivalent 
·        Experience with Adaptive Insights required. This role will require existing knowledge and build toward mastery of Adaptive Insights 
·        Experience with SAP a huge bonus 
·        Ability to make sense of ambiguous situations and drive towards clarity and unity 
·        Strong interpersonal and team-building skills; ability to work with a diverse team and influence/drive change across functional and business boundaries 
·        Intellectual curiosity to drive the detailed understanding of business performance, decision making, and communication 
·        Effective communication and strategic thinking skills 
·        Strong financial modeling (e.g., Excel power user), spreadsheet, and presentation skills 
·        Experience with Automated Reporting & Dashboard building (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) 
·        Strong project management, planning, and organization skills 
·        Continuous improvement attitude; ability to suggest and implement best practices
