This is what you’ll do:
-Support Launch Quality team in issue identification and resolution
-Collect and analyzequality data
-Report investigation results
-Recommendprocess & product improvement
-Review CAD information during problem solving
-Validation of product & process changes
-Practice structure problem solving
-Improve Product quality through warranty return improvements
-Participate in product reviews and issues management
-Liaison between manufacturing and product engineeringto support continuous quality improvements
-Team member in driving actions to meet both internal and external quality objectives
This is what you’ll need:
Specific knowledge in: (Vehicle System Electrical/ Software Integration or Exterior or Interior or Electrical Propulsion or Chassis or Specific Vehicle Attribute)
-Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience
-Black Belt, CQE or equivalent certification desired
-Knowledge in quality problem solving tools (eg. Lean 6 Sigma, Shainin, 8D…etc)
-Knowledge of management and planning tools, quality tools, preventive and corrective actions, and how to overcome barriers to quality improvements
-Fundamental understanding of quality philosophies, principles, systems, methods, tools, standards, organizational and team dynamics, customer expectations and satisfaction, supplier relations and performance, leadership, training, interpersonal relationships, improvement systems and professional ethics
-Fundamental understanding of a quality system and its development, documentation and implementation to standards or requirements
-Ability to develop and implement quality programs, including tracking, analyzing, reporting and problem solving
-Will be able to plan, control and assure product and process quality in accordance with quality principles, which include planning processes, material control, acceptance sampling and measurement systems
-Will be able to acquire and analyze data using appropriate standard quantitative methods across a spectrum of business environments to facilitate process analysis and improvements
