This is what you’ll do:
Design Managers have proven skills in establishing/developing design schemes and coordinating with design teams for interior or architectural projects. Design Managers are a collaborative, creative thinkers, with a solid understanding of architectural and interior design and/or architectural standards and practices.
·       Programming of client/stakeholder needs - lead interviews, workshops, and organize key client/stakeholder feedback
·       Test fits and space planning, as well as conceptual design packages
·       Schematic design presentations and documentation
·       Design development documentation; including drawings, schedules, specifications, and custom details
·       Conduct detailed review and redlines of AEOR drawings and documentation
·       Furniture, fixture, and equipment selections and specifications
·       Construction administration – review and track design submittals, answer necessary RFI’s, perform site walks to verify design intent and coordination
·       Consultant coordination and management
·       With the overall project team, responsible for the overall success of every project within their studio, including hitting all facets of schedule, budget and quality
This is what you’ll need:
·       5+ years of architectural or interior design experience
·       A college degree in architecture, interior design or directly related field
·       Strong portfolio demonstrating built commercial interior design or architecture experience
·       Strong communication skills, both verbal and visual
·       Be resourceful, innovative and proactive
·       Ability to work in a team environment, under tight deadlines
·       Proficient in Autocad, Revit and Adobe Creative Suite
·       Strong portfolio demonstrating built commercial interior design or architecture experience
