Director, Privacy and Security

This Is What You’ll Do:
·       Define the Cloud Team’s privacy and security vision and strategy.
·       Guide and support the Cloud Team in working to best practices in privacy and security.
·       Lead a team of engineers to implement the Cloud Team’s privacy and security strategy, working closely with engineers in other parts of the Cloud Team and with the Rivian cyber-security team.
 
This Is What You’ll Need:
·       Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
·       5+ years managing a high-performance team.
·       Deep knowledge of cloud data privacy and security models.
·       Ability to advise on privacy, data protection and security, from both an operational and legal perspective, including GDPR and CCPA.
·       5+ years developing code in Python, Java, C/C++.
·       Experience using software development technologies, processes, and tools (i.e., Agile software development)
·       Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering; Master’s degree a plus.
