This is what you’ll do:
·Design, plan and implement the enterprise-wide Quality Information Systems (QIS) needed to support the Quality Operating System (QOS) to drive exceptional quality in all aspects of the business, including Design, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Service/Warranty.
·Aligning with the Rivian IT strategy, and the requirements of the QOS, architect the QIS and data flow / data integration at the systems level across the enterprise
·Develop and execute an implementation plan that supports all build phases and the strategic plan for the QIS rollout and provide inputs to systems architecture.
·Determine, track, report out on, and deliver key QIS implementation KPIs.
·Ensure ease of use and consistency within and between process (information flow of all processes) to deliver the requirements including making decisions with the data and/or driving change in process.
·Take initiative to apply expertise innovatively in support of organizational vision that addresses critical business issues and focuses on developing long term solutions.
·Participate with cross-functional teams to make improvements to products and processes ensuring the highest quality products are delivered to the customer.
·Work directly with design, supply base, manufacturing, and service teams to drive data based robust problem solving.
This is what you’ll need:
·Bachelors of Science in Engineering, or related field.
·10+ years’ experience in Quality Systems and process background, including Advance Product Quality Planning, PPAP, Manufacturing and Launch Process, Warranty Management, Problem Solving (PPS/8D, DMAIC), Lean methods, etc.
·Experience launching quality systems with cross-functional teams.
·Experience with Tableau or other data analytics tools.
·Experience with leading large scale continuous improvement activities.
·Ability to manage multiple projects across varying geographic locations
·Willingness to work in a strong cross functional environment
·Proven technical knowledge and ability to collaborate with engineering and suppliers
·Comfortable working in a manufacturing / production environment
