The candidate should have the experience of performing silicon product level reliability qualification and lifetime behavior modeling. You will need to be familiar with the reliability failing modes of silicon technologies and failing mechanisms with respect to reliability.
The candidate is required to have prior experience in defining hardware setups and equipment for life, environmental, ESD, Latch-Up and other tests, as well as the experience driving suppliers in the areas of silicon Fab process / packaging / assembly, testing, ongoing reliability monitoring, and post-production qualification.

Responsibilities

    • You will drive requirements and execution of products, process qualification and reliability stress tests conditions and configurations from design stage all the way to successful qualification completion.
    • Drive and review Design for Reliability and Design for Test to ensure stress-ability and testability.
    • Lead all aspects of and ensure adequate preparation for qualification including such as corner skew material, waveform, electrical bias, thermal effect, lifetime estimation.
    • Implement POR of process flows, workmanship standards and supervise product performance.
    • Provide reliability Vmax and aging guidelines to product teams
    • Work experience in assisting IP & product teams to design for reliability - margining, flows, design methodology.
    • Assess/perform yield analysis and correlation analysis for all levels of test including Pareto building, statistics, etc.

Requirements

    • Excellent skills in problem solving, written and verbal communication, excellent organization skills, and highly self-motivated.
    • Ability to work well in a team and be productive under aggressive schedules.
    • Minimum of 12 years of experience in the field of silicon process reliability and quality shipping products in HVM.
    • Direct experience working on advanced process technologies as a process integration, device or reliability engineer in a fab, or as foundry interface in fabless companies with job responsibilities in raising an internal silicon technology platform for IP & product development.
    • In Depth Knowledge in reliability physics, including product qualification procedures and related industry standards/specifications, FMEA, memory redundancy and aging, defect screening and life-time calculation, WLR, test structure and stress-test definition.
    • Familiar with Wafer Level Reliability testing, test structures, and industry standards (JEDEC, AEC).
    • Familiar with advanced process technology nodes and high performance silicon designs.

Education and Experience

    • PhD or Master’s Degree in technical subject area.
