In this highly visible role, you will take ownership of the ESD and Latch-Up requirements of all ICs developed by and for Rivos. Your mission is to ensure the silicon is designed to meet Rivos ESD specifications and manufacturing requirements. The role involves working closely with diverse teams within Rivos as well as external vendors. Occasional travel might be required.
Responsibilities
- As a ESD Design Technologist, you will own or participate in the following:
- Define the ESD methodology for all silicon developed by Rivos and to specify chip and IP level ESD requirements.
- Support ESD network simulations to determine its robustness
- Generate or review ESD/LUP testing plans for Rivos and vendor ICs
- Manage sign-off reviews with internal design teams, external vendors and foundries
- Drive ESD/LUP related debug activities
Requirements
- Master’s and/or PhD Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering with at least 8 year experience
- Solid understanding of models used for testing ESD, including HBM, CDM, MM.
- Knowledge of state-of-the-art ESD design techniques and topologies
- Hands-on experience with design/layout EDA tools, including Virtuoso, Calibre, Allegro, etc.
- Knowledge of ESD checking tools like PERC and Pathfinder
- Experience with Si processes used for high voltage, RF, or advanced ASICs
- Experience with ESD/LUP test and characterization equipment
- Excellent skills in problem solving, written and verbal communication, excellent organization skills, and highly self-motivated.
- Ability to work well in a team and be productive under aggressive schedules
Education and Experience
- PhD, Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in technical subject area.
