Job Description
As our Supply Chain Operations Manager, you will join our growing team in Shanghai to build and manage our supplier network and ensure quality and efficiency. This is a hybrid role for a professional with a background in both Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) and Supply Chain Management. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and auditing our supplier pool, managing supply chain operations from a supplier quality perspective, and leading strategic projects with external partners in the Asia-Pacific region.
What you’ll be doing
- Supplier Management: Source, audit, and nominate suppliers for robotic components (e.g., die casting, injection molding, batteries, sensors, domain controllers), providing risk assessments for decision-makers.
- Supplier Quality: Monitor nominated suppliers' quality records using established quality management tools and push for the enhancement or implementation of new quality control methods.
- Operational Leadership: Establish daily workflows, define deliverables, and integrate the team's needs into our ERP and PLM systems.
- Problem-Solving & Collaboration: Lead problem-solving efforts with suppliers to resolve issues that arise from prototyping to volume production. Work collaboratively to troubleshoot, identify process improvements, and scale production capabilities.
- Strategic Projects: Lead strategic projects with external partners, coordinating internal and external resources to ensure project success.
What you must have
- Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering or Financial field.
- At least 8 years of experience in volume production projects within the automotive, bike/e-bike, consumer electronics, or logistics sectors.
- Proven experience bringing at least three products from the concept phase to volume production.
- Global project experience, including collaboration with international clients or suppliers (preferably in Western countries or the Middle East).
- In-depth knowledge of international quality standards and tools: IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and 8D analytical methodologies.
- A highly proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a strong will to get things done in challenging and resource-limited situations.
- Basic proficiency in written and spoken English.

- Experience with equipment or production line automation projects.
