As the Associate Manager, Pharmacy Licensing, you will oversee the licensing of Ro’s nationwide network of pharmacies. You have a proven track record for effectiveness as an operator-leader with a deep knowledge of licensing and regulatory affairs. The Pharmacy Licensing Manager must be agile, have strong communication skills, and successfully collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver on-time licensing requirements.

What You'll Do:

    • Full ownership of pharmacy licensing, including compounding licenses
    • Drive licensing initiatives, including 50 states and D.C.
    • Obtain and maintain current and future pharmacy licenses
    • Maintain an understanding of pharmacy laws, regulations, and licensing requirements to ensure compliance
    • Manage various licenses, permits, and regulatory documents which will require meticulous attention to detail to avoid errors or oversights
    • Lead the pharmacy team to successfully complete regulatory inspections
    • Represent Ro as the point of contact for licensing and regulatory communications, such as with the Boards of Pharmacy
    • Establish and maintain relationships with key regulatory and accreditation stakeholders, functioning as one of Ro’s regulatory ambassadors
    • As pharmacy regulations change over time, adapt to new requirements and stay updated on industry changes
    • Collaborate with pharmacy management, legal counsel, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and resolve issues effectively

What You'll Bring:

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • 3-5 years experience in pharmacy licensing
    • Deep knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and industry standards
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
    • Detail oriented & highly organized
    • Demonstrated ability to deliver on-time results
    • Business proficiency in speaking, presenting, and writing
    • Ability to use analytics and make data-based decisions

The target base salary for this position ranges from $79,000 to $104,000, in addition to a competitive equity and benefits package (as applicable). When determining compensation, we analyze and carefully consider several factors, including location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. These considerations may cause your compensation to vary.

Ro recognizes the power of in-person collaboration, while supporting the flexibility to work anywhere in the United States. For our Ro’ers in the tri-state (NY) area, you will join us at HQ on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For those outside of the tri-state area, you will be able to join in-person collaborations throughout the year (i.e., during team on-sites).
